So busy....

I have been so busy with school work, chores, dealing with financial aid, and trying to spend time with family, friends and of course BRYAN... its difficult to just jump on here and blog as much as I want to. I am in my second week of college now, and so far... its pretty easy. Im on the basic stuff stil (reading, small assignments, small quizzes, etc.)... Im sure the research papers and harder things will come soon enough "/ But so far, I am really enjoying being back in school. I have made the decision to not work while I am in school.... at least until I can learn to balance out everything. I am going to be babysitting two kids (3 yrs and 18 months old) within the next month or so (as long as everything works out with the mom). I will be making about 110 a week, and i'll be watching them 2-3 days out of the week. So that's pretty much all that is going on with me right now.

Bryan has recently decided that he is going to be buying a new car. The mazda has treated him good, but he got that "new car bug" and is set on getting one. The mazda has been giving him some troube lately, the ac has stopped working, the belts are worn, and the transmission isn't doing so good these days. He had his eye on a 2001 Nissan Maxima... but it ended up selling literally 2 seconds before he called on it. We went over to Saturn of Temecula, and the have a cute little 2005 Saturn Ion that he fell in love with. If everything works out, he'll have a new car by this weekend! :) We'll definitely keep everyone updated, and if he gets the car, there will be LOTS of pictures, guaranteed!

Bryan has also decided that next Spring he is going to take some art and music classes at MSJC and possibly major in Art or Music. He still loves computers, and working at Datatronics but he just wants to experience other things as well, and have some things to fall back on (besides computers, his other LOVES are art and music). His TRUE dream is to be in a very famous band, and travel all over the world (I would like that too!). And he has also recently been interested in tattoo'ing. A few days ago he took a sharpie to my arm and drew a "Kat Von D" on my arm. He did a pretty good job, so we took some pictures.

Hope everyone is doing good. And by the way, we love the boys song!!! Can't wait for merch and cd's!

Lex

Sarah's and Parkers Baby Shower

On Sunday, my mom, Bryan and I went to Sarah's (& Baby Parker's) Baby Shower. It was held at La Fagota Mexican Restaurant in Hemet. It was all "pinked out" and a lot of her family and friends were there. We played lots of fun games, met really nice people, ate a yummy lunch, won cool prizes, and spent lots of time with Sarah! Bryan won a cash prize of $30.00 and he also one the Baby Clip game (where you can't say Baby, throughout the whole shower. He was very competitive and took everyones clips at our table) he won a 12 piece glasses set. My mom won a game as well, and got a movie and some candy. I didn't win anything :( Haha.

Sarah got lots of nice gifts, she seems set on clothes and Safety Kits. HAHA. We went a little overboard with our gift. We got her lots and lots of stuff. Only about a month and a half, and Baby Parker will be here! :D

Harvest Crusade 2008

Harvest Crusade is an annual Christian Event, held by Pastor Greg Laurie. It is held at the Anaheim Angel Stadium, it is a 3 day event. We went on Saturday this year.

The events purpose is to bring Christians and non-Christians together for worship and a message. Over 20,000 people give their lives to Jesus Christ each year at Harvest. It is amazing to witness this. They also have awesome bands come and worship with us! This years bands were: Leeland, Kutless, Lincoln Brewster, and P.O.D! P.O.D and Leeland were there last year, and rocked. They liked it so much that they came back this year and rocked even more. P.O.D is one of Bryan's favorite bands, so we choose to go on the day that they are playing.

This year, we brought our friend Paige and she brought along her friend Brianna. They didn't seem very interested in the message, but that's alright.

Here are some pictures of Harvest!

Seaport Village

Sunday, we went down to Seaport Village. Its a cute little shopping center in San Diego. We had such a great time! The weather was perfect! We did a little shopping. Bryan and I bought a cool starfish and sand dollar from a Sea Shell Store, and my parents bought some for the girls as well. My dad also got a few shirts from the Big Dog Store. My parents bought lunch from Margarita's (a little Mexican Restaurant), and we got some hamburgers from "San Diego Burgers". The Midway Air Craft Carrier is down there, so we went over there and looked at all of the memorials and the ship. They also had an amazing statue of a Sailor and his girl, it was huge and BEAUTIFUL! It was definitely one of my favorite parts of the day. We were there for about 4 hours. On our way home we stopped to get some Coldstone :)

We had such a great day! We will definitely be planning another trip down there soon.

Rubios and Car Rides :)

While my parents took Haylee on her fun outting, Bryan and I decided to make Makayla's day a little more eventful. We took her to Rubio's for lunch and then rented some movies to watch with her. While we were out, we took some pictures (of course!)! Enjoy!

Haylee's Day...

So as I mentioned in a previous blog, Haylee's monthly goal was to not miss any school or homework for a full month. She sucessfully completed her goal, and got a special reward. Today was "Haylee Day", my mom and dad took her to Mulligan's and then took her to see KungFu Panda. Before the left this afternoon, I took some really cute pictures of them. (As you can tell I am OBSESSED with taking pictures, and take them constantly. HAHA) I am definitely seeing a cute scrapbook page out of these!

The fun part....

So Erika and I had lots of fun taking drunken pictures and going on mini-adventures, and dancing in the living room. The pictures explain it all... ENJOY! :D

Party in Progress

Then the night REALLY began....

Everyone started showing up!! We were just hanging out outside, talking, bbq'ing, drinking. Everyone was having a great time. Well Bryan decided to buy Jagermeister for the party, plus we had Pina Colada's, Captain Morgan, and beer as well. Bryan had 9 shots of Jager, and 2 Rum and Cokes. Can you say DRUNK?! He was definitely the entertainment of the night, and I am sad to say that I only have ONE picture of him from the entire night. :(

Erika and I on the other hand had a grand ole' time taking pictures. HAHAHA, we were a little tipsy, and were having lots of fun with my parents and her friends. After Uncle Nate and his family and Uncle Brandon and his family left, my moms friends Eder and Thomas stayed a while longer and played some card games with us. Erika, Bryan and I all poored into bed at about 2am, and Thomas and Eder didn't end up leaving till about 330am.

I am very happy that my mom had a great time, and im glad so many people showed up to celebrate with us! :)

So here we go....

So yesterday morning, I woke up and began my work. I slaved away cleaning the house and cooking the food for the party (hehe, it really wasn't too bad). Then I got to decorate the house! I blew up a whole bag of balloons, put up the banners, etc. That was the fun part. Here are some of the pictures of the decorations! I definitely had a blast setting up.

Funny faces....

So while we were at dinner last night, we all decided to make a funny face and take a picture of it. Everyone was very willing to do it, and having lots of fun with it. My mom on the other hand had to be talked in to doing it, but we finally got her to do it, and the result was hilarious. ENJOY!!!!!

Mom's Pizza Birthday Dinner...

Whoo, that was a mouth full. HAHA.

Last night, Bryan took the family to a place in Hemet called "Unique Pizza and Subs". It was really fun and the food was YUMMMMY! :) We ordered way too much food, so we have lots of leftovers, but that's okay! :)

We had a blast taking pictures! Here are some of em'.
