Good Morning Tuesday! Time has just been flying by lately, and for the last few days I just haven't been feeling that great... not sick wise, just poopy. I have been really kind of emotional and grumpy lately, and every morning I kind of just want to sleep the day away. However, I woke up today and I was in the best mood, I couldn't wait to start the day! Hopefully this is a permanent feeling, and I don't back to being poopy again tomorrow.

Today will be a busy day. The girls have the rest of their weekly homework to finsih up, and I need to get it all graded and ready to head out with them tomorrow (their meetings are Wednesdays at 2pm.) I have lots of geography and art homework to get done today :] A few chores to get done, and hopefully still have a little bit of time to spend with my mom (today's her day off.)

Tomorrow is my first day of work! I am super excited! I don't remember if I posted in my last blog or not, but I got a part-time nanny job. I will be watching two little boys, Kael and Kash (yes, like Kale, just spelled differently.) They are 3 1/2 and 14 months. I will be watching them Wednesdays and Fridays 9-5, and ocassionally there will be some extra days which will be nice. I am excited to finally have some sort of an income, which is a great help since we are moving out in just a few weeks!

I hope everyone is having a marvelous Tuesday! :]

Love,
Lex

my beautiful<3

She's all done :] I went over Friday night for my last session, and she is finally completely finished! I am absolutely in love with her. Tony Ellis did a fantastic job! I love all of the colors and the art soooo much. Its gorgeous. Anyways, I hope everyone else finds it as great as I do (doubt it! haha)

We also have some other great news. Bryan and I are in the process of moving out of my parents house. We have just decided that its time to spread our wings and get our own place. Everyone is being extremely supportive and are very happy for us. They know we are responsible and will do well for ourselves. I will continue to go to school full-time, homeschool the girls 4 days out of the week and I am also starting a nanny/babysitting job this Thursday (it will be 4 days of the week, wed and thur 12-630, fri 7-7 and saturday 7-530) Bryan and I went apartment shopping yesterday and found the perfect place. They are called the Amberwood Villa's and they are located in the nice part of Hemet. We are getting a one bedroom one bath. They are so gorgeous and updated inside, which I like a lot! We are taking Boston (and possibly Dallas because we don't want Boston to be alone and sad.) We are very excited to do this, and hopefully everyone can come see the place one day!! :]

We are going to pick up our couches on Monday evening. I found them on Craigslist, so hopefully they are in OK condition, if they are not in the greatest condition then I will either buy couch covers or just not get them, haha! We are so excited to start buying furniture and decorations!! :]

Well, hopefully everyone is having a great weekend!
Love,
Lex & Bryan

Geography 101

Today is the start of my Fast Paced (8 week) Geography Class :] I am very excited to be in this class, but also worried. I am already in 3 very difficult classes at the moment, and with this being a FAST PACED class everything is done very quickly and in bulk. Luckily I work well under stress! Hahahah.

Just thought I'd let everyone know that I have decided not to take any classes this summer, I feel I need a break from school, and I think it will be fun for the girls and I to have the summer off together and do lots of fun activities together :]

Girls day @ Seaworld :]

Thursday, March 19th, my mom had a day off - so we decided to head down to San Diego and have a girls day at Seaworld! This was my first time going to SeaWorld since I was about 6 years old. We had such a blast seeing all of the shows and learning about all of the different animals of the ocean. We saw the Shamu Believe show which was cool, but a bit hard to watch since we sat FRONT ROW of the Soak Zone - we were SOAKING WET, especially my mom! HAHA. We saw the dolphin show, the Pet Show (soo cool, lots of trained animals doing crazy stuff), we went and pet the sting rays (so weird feeling and slimy), we met DJ the Clydesdale and learned about him, we went through the shark and penguin encounter and we rode the Arctic Helicopter Flight (kinda like Soarin' over California). It was such a great day spent with my mom and sisters, I can't wait to go back! :]

English 106: Analyzing Literature

For the next two weeks in my English class, we are going to be reading "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy. I started reading it on Tuesday and am on page 83 so far. Since it is "analyzing literature" my professor likes to choose very interesting and odd stories for the class to read. For the first 6 weeks we were mainly focusing on short stories, we have just now gotten into the novels.

So far, The Road is very intriguing. McCarthy refers to his characters simply as "he" "the boy" and "the father," he does this to make you feel as if you ARE the character, instead of just relating to a character (that has a proper name) in a story. He also does not tell you any past background on the characters, and does not inform you on what is going in the story, he leaves it up to the readers imagination. The Road is about a father and young son who are on a journey, according to the simple details that McCarthy gives us, the world is coming to an end, there are "bad guys" that the father and son must stay away from, scarce food, water and shelter, and the two are constantly seeing "corpses" everywhere they go - anyways, its about the struggle that the father and son go through, and trying to keep there determination and hope through everything. It is really a very good and interesting book. I will let everyone know if its "recomendable" once I finish it.

P.S - My Political Science teacher is no longer a jerk. I have killed him with kindness. Instead of receiving emails saying "try a little harder. not enough posts throughout the week." I am not receiving emails such as "great posting for the week alexa! keep up the great work and participation!" YAY!!!!!

Cribz

Welcome to this week's episode of Crib'z. This week on Crib'z we have Miss. Chanels pad.

We had the "Chanel Emblem" made into a sticker to put onto her cage. Don't you love it? She has a wheel/exercise room (that she never runs on), two stories (bottom floor is her bedroom, top story is her kitchen) and of course her water dispenser! :] However, she is getting a bit big for this "starter" cage. I'm thinking in a month or so we may need to upgrade to something a bit larger. We'll see :]

Parker Marie Knight

I believe when The Butlers were visiting in 2008 everyone met my friend Sarah. Well, if you didn't, she was pregnant :] HAHA. Well, this would be Miss. Parker Marie. She is almost 6 months now, WOW, how the time flys! She was born in October (im horrible, I don't remember the exact date) but she is such a sweet heart and we love her soooo much. Sarah sent this picture to us a few weeks ago after she got Parker's ears pierced. Cute, huh? :]

Have a Happy St. Patricks Day! :]

Second Session ...

Yesterday was mine and Bryan's second session at Tony's house. Bryan got the rest of his sleeve outlined, and it looks AMAZING and I got the beginning of my color started. I have one more session to go and the tattoo will be all finished. It looks so amazing so far, and I am loving Tony's work. I have decided that once this one gets finished I am going to start the rest of my sleeve, which will incorporate lots of underwater scenery (sunken pirate ship, sharks, mermaids, anchors, etc.) It will look beautiful. And I have also decided that my other sleeve is going to be all Disney Villians :] Sooo cool.

Bryan's sleeve is looking really good, his is going to take probably 5 or 6 (2 hour) sessions to get it all colored and shaded. SO PAINFUL, but so worth it.

Its weird when it comes to tattoo pain. When you get the outline done, it hurts the worst, but the soreness afterwards isn't bad at all. When you get the shading and coloring done, it doesn't hurt at all, but the soreness afterwards is dreadful. My arm feels like one big bruise, it hurts very badly. But its sooooooo worth it :] Hope you all are liking our art! :]

P.S - Bryan's outline in the pics looks a little "inky" and "dirty" because he hadn't showered yet. I will post better ones once I take some.

Boston Boy<3

This here is my Boston boy. He is mine and Bryan's baby boy. He is thee sweetest puppy in the world and he is definitely spoiled rotten. Every night that Bryan and I watch our TV shows or watch a movie, Boston always joins us. He loves to spend time with us and cuddle with us. When we do have him in the bedroom with us, we usually keep him (sneakingly) and he sleeps with us! He absolutely loves it. The girls took my camera out back the other day and decided to take some "modeling" pictures of the pups. I absolutely LOVED this one of Boston.

SLIPKNOT!

I bought Bryan Slipknot tickets for Christmas, and we had to wait a whole THREE MONTHS to see them. Finally, the day came. We went and saw them on Tuesday, March 10th with some friends of ours. All I can say is WOW! They were unbelievably awesome. By far, thee BEST band I have ever seen live. People who don't even like Slipknot would enjoy their performance.

Here is a little bit of info on Slipknot:
1. They are 9 member band consisting of Sid(turntables), Joey(drums), Paul(bass), Chris(custom percussion and back vocals), James(guitar), Craig(samples and media), Shawn(percussion), Mick(guitars), and Corey(lead vocals).
2. All members of Slipknot wear very unique (&scary) masks ALWAYS, they have just recently been seen without their masks on because they did an "unmasked" interview.
3. If you have never seen Slipknot, or heard their music, just know that they are CRAZY. They run around the stage acting like psycho's, they flip the audience off, they are cussing all the time, but they are soo insane to watch. It is hard to keep your eyes on just ONE person.

During the end of the performance, Joey's drumset starts rising, and then it starts turning around in circles and then it goes upside down, all while Joey was STILL playing! Oh man, it was incredible. And the mosh pit at this type of concert is INSANE - I didn't go down there FYI, too scared!!

We had an absolute blast, and we have made a promise to ourselves that everytime they are playing in the area, we are going!! :]

P.S - the pictures suck because they were taken with Bryan's phone, the arena did not allow camera's to be brought in :[

B E A U T I F U L Obsession<3

On Saturday, Bryan and I contacted a friend of ours named Tony. Tony is a great tattoo artist, and gives HUGE deals (especially for his friends.) So, we went over to his apartment on Saturday, and we both got our sleeves started. We only have the outlines done so far, but we are going back this upcoming Sunday to get them all finished.

I just have the top half done so far, and its just the outline, but its a picture of an Underwater Geisha Girl (this is what I call her.) She had the hair and look of a geisha girl, but she has "tattoos" of waves and koi fish all over her body. She is absolutely gorgeous, and when she is all colored and everything she is going to look sooo beautiful. The rest of my sleeve is going to be "Underwater" themed. Beneath her is going to be a very beautiful anchor with a banner with Makayla and Haylee's names in it. And on the bottom part of my arm I am going to have a sunken pirate ship and mermaids, fish, and possibly some sharks. My fillers (in between all of the big tattoos) are going to be bubbles and cherry blossum flowers.

Bryan's top half is also done, also just the outline, but his sleeve is going to be "Water" themed (not UNDERWATER, haha). He had his first koi fish outlined on Saturday, and on Sunday Tony is going to finish the rest of his entire outline. The rest of Bryan's sleeve is going to consist of another koi fish on the other half of his arm, and a starfish on his elbow. His fillers are going to be waves, lotuses, some traditional japanese flowers and these really cool maple leaf looking things.

Anyways, we are sooo excited for thissss! Hope you guys like them so far! :]

Mr. Edward Cullen

This cute little thing is Mr. Edward Cullen. I know, I know, were CRAZY! No, were just animal lovers. I told my mom we should open a petting zoo, haha! Anyways, we found this cute little guy on Craigslist. He was free, and came with his cage and everything. The people we got him from had to get rid of him because their dog wanted to eat him :[ Anyways, he's superrr sweet, and soo cute and fluffy! His name when we got him was "Bunny"... so we definitely had to change that right away, the girls picked Edward.

He has adjested very well to our house. He sleeps inside in his cage, and is out of his cage for a lot of the day. Once he is completely settled here, we are going to begin litter box training him, so then he doesnt have to be in a cage at all.

Oh, and get this... his best friend? BELLA! haha. We thought that was pretty cute and ironic. They cuddle and play with each other all the time. Its super cute! :]

P.S - Chanel is doing great :]

Meet Miss. Chanel :]

This past weekend, Bryan and I went to visit his mom for a couple hours. She was telling us about a friend of hers that had this thing called a "Devu" (a little rodent thing that is small like a mouse, but looks like a gerbil) and she was giving them away for free. Well I asked my parents if I could get one, and they said yes. We called up the lady and she informed us that "these are not nice animals, they are not to be taken out of the cage and played with." :( Wellllll, I was really set on getting a cute little mouse thing so we went over to Petsmart to look at what they had. That is when I met Miss. Chanel :] She was soooo sweet, right off the bat, and we took her home that day! She has a cute little green cage (which we bought a "Chanel" sticker for and were going to bedazzle it with some jewels.) She is between 4 and 6 months old, and she will get a bit bigger. Once she grows a bit more, we will have to buy her a bigger cage - but for now, her starter cage is doing just fine. We have yet to buy her a ball to run around in, but so far, she is loving her new home. Grandma even came and took a peek at her, SHOCKER!!!! My sisters love her, and my mom thinks shes "cute," and of course Bryan and I are in love with her<3

Anyways, we will keep you updated on how shes doing!
