Happy Birthday Haylee Anya!!!!!!

Just want to wish my baby sister an early happy birthday! I don't want to forget when were on our way to Seaworld tomorrow! I am so proud of the young little lady you have become. I am so proud of you baby! Keep being that crazy, unique, loving, beautiful, and sweet baby girl that you are! Happy 11th Birthday mamas!

Mmm, almost summer<3

Summer is almost here, we can DEFINITELY feel it. Bryan and I hung out at our friend Natasha's house all day today and spent the day swimming and bbqing. It was relaxing and a nice way to spend our Sunday. I tried getting a tan, but I just couldn't keep myself out of the pool, especially since she has a super fun water slide!!! We are planning on spending A LOT of time over there this summer!

Haylee's & Payten's Birthday Party!!

Saturday we had a cozy little get together with some close family and friends and celebrated Haylee's 11th Birthday and Paytens too (oooops, I forgot how old she turned!) We had yummy Sams Club Pizza, cake and ice cream! The girls got so many great gifts, and we all had a blast! It was great to see everyone, it seems like it has been a while! :) Here are some of the party pics! Haylee got some really cool gifts: LOTS OF MONEY!!!! (I think its about $80.00 PLUS gift cards!) from Grandma, my mom and dad, & John and Anna. Bryan and I got her a very neat antique lock and keys, a CD, and a really cool shirt. Bryan's parents made Haylee a awesome wooden sign that reads "Haylee's Shooting Range" (picture above!) She is going to hang it above her shooting range area, and my mom and dad also bought her an entire calligraphy set (she has been really getting into calligraphy, and she is really good at it!)

Beach Trip & Wedding Reception :)

On our to the beach from The Flower Fields we found this cute, secluded area on the beach in Encinitas! It was so pretty and quiet, there were only a few families and a lot of surfers. We spent about 4 hours just relaxing on the beach, I even took a nap. Bryan was having fun watching the surfers and the kids play in the water! We both got a little bit burnt - me on my stomach and calves and Bryan on his face. We definitely had a very nice and relaxing day, and we plan on doing it at least twice a month (hopefully every weekend) during the Summer!

We got home around 4:15pm and rushed to get ready because we had a wedding reception to be at at 5pm!!! Imagine being super relaxed from the beach, smelling of suncreen and salty water, and being sandy and have to get ready in 45 minutes to look semi-fancy. HAHAHAH. It was definitely crazy!!

The wedding reception was for Bryan's cousin Dezzy and her new husband Alucky. It was soooo much fun and there was such DELICIOUS food!! (Mexican families make THEE best food!!) I even won a gift from one of the games we played! We had a great time, and didn't get home till about 1am! :)

Flower Fields in Carlsbad!

On our way to the beach Saturday morning, we went out to take a look at the Flower Fields in Carlsbad. They are in bloom right now and we were told that it was free to walk through the fields... however, when we got there we found out that it was $10 per person! AHH! No thank you! However, we snuck through the Garden Shop (the flower store there) and took pictures through the back gates! :) We got some really cool ones! We are definitely going to plan a trip out there sometime this Spring/Summer and PAY to get in :)

Oh, and the picture of the mushrooms was taken inside the Garden Shop. When we move into our own house I am going to have a really fun, mythical garden (gnomes, fairies, bright flowers, mushrooms, etc.) :) I thought the mushrooms were fun and bright, so I wanted a picture of them :)

Happy Easter!!

I'm a little late - SORRY! This past weekend was just so busy for me, and yesterday as well... I haven't had time to get on here and blog about ANYTHING! Anyways, Easter Sunday was great. Brandon and Danielle and the rest of the family came over, as well as Grandma Cathy and Bryan's parents (Tina and Ronnie). We had bbq'd hamburgers, hot dogs and many different delicious sides! Grandma brought two Marie Calendar pies & I made a delicious apple spice cake! :) We just hung out, relaxed and talked all day! It was very nice!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Love,
Lex & Bryan

Easter Tradition :)

No matter how old I am, I always love to involve myself in holiday traditions, such as decorating Easter eggs! Friday night my sisters and I followed in the yearly tradition of decorating Easter eggs! It was so much fun - and of course, the girls eggs came out way better than mine. But, oh, how they are SO delicious (and it seems like they are more so because they are so colorful and beautiful!)

Celebrating Anniversary Day!

Saturday was our planned day for the celebration of our anniversary. Our plans were to head down to San Diego for the day, go to some beaches, walk around down town, etc. Unfortunantely, it was raining, so we had to make alternate plans for the day :( We ended up going to a place called Painted Earth (where you paint pottery, and then they fire it for you) and it was a blast!!!! We each made our own tile! It was so much fun! After that we went over to the mall and walked around a little bit (they have completely remodeled the mall and it looks awesome, and we love all of the new stores!). We ate dinner at the new restaurant Yardhouse, which was delish. After that we went over to Grandpa and Nana's house (my parents were there too to celebrate Easter with them). Bryan and I left a bit early to go pick up a friend of ours (Sarah and Parker) and they came over to the house and watched Night at the Roxbury with us! :) All in all, it was a fabulous way to celebrate our two year anniversary! :)

Friday Night Dinner Date

This past weekend was mine and Bryan's Anniversary weekend (it fell on Easter, so we celebrated a little early). Friday night, Bryan took me to Souplantation for dinner. It was delecious, as always, and it was great spending time with Bryan! What a great start to a great weekend! :)

Voted: Cutest Couple <3

I have come to the conclusion that Bryan and I are THEE cutest couple EVER! Hahaha, just kidding... but really. Aren't we just the cutest?!?!?!? HAHAHAHAHAHA. We had fun going on a picture taking rampage before we headed out to see Fast and Furious with Kayla and Haylee (which by the way, was AWESOME!) Here are some of the cuter and less goofy ones, hahaha. :] Enjoyyyyy!!!!!

Miss. Blondie

Spring is here, and Summer is ALMOST here - so I thought I would start to stray away from the dark hair. So, I am BLONDE now!!! YAYY!! My mom and I went to have our hair done on Friday, and we both went blonde! Its so nice to have a different color hair, since I had dark hair for almost a year now! I think it looks great, and everyone else seems to love it too! :]  Surprisingly, my hair feels healthier now then it did BEFORE I got my hair done. I am also very excited that my hair is getting long, its a bit shorter now because he had to cut my ends off since they haven't been trimmed for a year - but its getting super long and I am very excited!! :]

Ca$h Money

On April 2nd, God blessed Miss. D'lila with another baby. This time around there was only one, which should be a lot easier on her. She has less babies to feed, and cuddle with, etc. This is Bone'z pup, and you can definitely tell, he looks IDENTICAL to him. He is such a sweet boy, and super tiny! I definitely do not remember the last litter being this tiny. And to answer everyones question - YES, we are SELLING him. However, Bryan has taken over the power of naming him - CA$H MONEY (this will be his name for the next two months). Its pretty cute, if you ask me. And we have already decided that the money we make from selling him, is going STRAIGHT into getting D'lila and Ebi fixed! HAHA.

It will be sad to watch him go, but at least we get to have him for 2 months :]

Decision, Decisions ...

Yesterday after work, Bryan calls me and tells me that I need to meet him at the apartment complex to sign the papers because yesterday was the last day to get the $99 dollar move in special. I met him there, and filled out the applications and all of that good stuff. Anyways, we didn't have the deposit and what not right away, so Bryan's mom said she would front us the money and we could pay her back.

Well, once we got home I started thinking. I didn't want to move into our apartment having to rely on other people lending us money, and then paying them back and what not. So we decided we are going to wait until we have money saved up and we can do it ALL on our own :]
