Mom's Pizza Birthday Dinner...

Whoo, that was a mouth full. HAHA.

Last night, Bryan took the family to a place in Hemet called "Unique Pizza and Subs". It was really fun and the food was YUMMMMY! :) We ordered way too much food, so we have lots of leftovers, but that's okay! :)

We had a blast taking pictures! Here are some of em'.

Yay

I went to MSJC today and took my assessment test. It was just a test to see what English and Math class they need to place me in. I also applied for financial aid and the Board of Governors Grant today, (I didn't get approved for the Governors Grant because my parents make to much money). I should be hearing back in about a week or so about my financial aid.

I have an appointment at 9am tomorrow morning to meet with my counselor to discuss a schedule and possibly register for classes. I have yet to decide what my career path and major is going to be. Its a toss up between teaching (Kindergarten or 1st grade), or a Juvenile Hall Counselor (or a regular counselor). If I decide to become a teacher then I will either major in English or History, and will also get my teaching credentials. If I decide to become a counselor I will major in Sociology or Social/Behavorial Science. Hopefully the meeting with my counselor will help decide what I want to do.

The rest of the weekend is going to be VERY busy.

Tomorrow is my mommy's birthday!! :) She is going to be the big FOUR OH! (40!!). Bryan is taking the family out for pizza tomorrow night to do a little celebrating on her actual birthday. Friday we are going to be having a little bbq/get-together with some family and some of my mom's friends. Saturday is "Haylee's Day" (Haylee had a goal at the beginning of the school year to not miss any school the whole year. My mom told her for every month that she misses no school and no homework, she will get a special surprise. A month has passed, she attended every day of school and did all of her homework on time. My parents are taking her to Mulligan's and to see Kung-Fu-Panda on Saturday). Sunday, my parents, Bryan and I are going to Seaport Village in San Diego for a little birthday getaway with just the adults.

So as you can see.... I will be a very busy, busy bee this weekend! I'll try to update with pictures and blogs as much as possible this weekend!

Love,
Lex

August

For some odd reason, I absolutely LOVE August. It makes me feel like Fall is almost here, and Fall is my favorite season of the year. "My" Augusts are always so full of business, but its always so much fun. I already have a full month of plans ahead of me.

August 2nd - Gpa's bday, which has already passed.
August 5th - Babysit Seth
August 6th - MSJC Assessment Testing
August 7th - MOMMY'S BDAY!
August 8th - Mom's Bday Party!
August 10th - Seaport Village trip with parents and Bryan
August 16th - Harvest Crusade in Anaheim
August 17th - Sarah's Baby Shower
August 19th - Stephany's Birthday!

So as you can see, I will be a busy busy bee this month and probably for the rest of the year!

Anyways, Makayla is on break this month, so we will be spending lots of quality time together. We have planned that we are going to stay waking up early so we stay on a schedule, and don't waste the day. We're going to give the dogs lots of walks, and go on a lot of bike rides together. We're going to scrapbook together!! YAY! & we're going to read Eclipse (the 3rd book of Twilight) all over again, and then start the 4th one (Breaking Dawn) together! :D Then in September, Haylee will be on break with me! And we will do it all over again.

PS - Auntie, the books that you sent to Grandma, what are they about? If they are any good, I would like to read them as well, if that is okay with you? :D

Grandpa's Birthday

Last night, we went over to Grandpa's and Nana's house for some cake and ice cream. Grandpa got some really neat books, some car washing stuff, some arbor mist, and some yummy trail mix for his birthday! We had a great time!

While we were there Uncle Nate, Daddy, and Danielle all decided they wanted to try the upside-down back thing (hahaha, i don't know what its called). They seemed to like it, and I got some good pictures!

Birthday Shopping

My mom had a day off this past week, and I decided that instead of buying her a present, I would give her some money and we could go shopping together and she could pick out whatever she wanted! I gave her $100.00, and a $15.00 Victoria Secrets Gift Card that I had from a while back, haha. She bought a few nice decorations for the house, and some perfume at Victoria's! But thats not the best part!

While shopping at Joanne's (I think that's how its spelled), we came across some Garden Gnomes! (I have ALWAYS wanted a gnome, but can NEVER find them for a reasonable price) Well, these little guys were on clearance for 5.99! My mom, being the kind person that she is, decided to buy one for me!

Here is a picture of the new addition to the family (we have yet to name him!)

Poor D'lila....

Our baby girl, D'lila, is in heat right now. For little dogs, its a horrible time! We have to put her in doggy diapers, to keep the other dogs from doing the "booty dance"! But, even though it is very sad, she looks SOOO CUTE in her diapers.
