Memorial Day Pool Party

Sunday we spent the day at Marilee's and Grandma's house swimming and bbq'ing. It was very nice and relaxing! We had such a fun time! It was a beautiful and perfect day for swimming, my mom even went swimming! It was great! 

Housewarming Party! :)

Saturday evening was our housewarming party. We definitely had a full house - almost 20 people were in our little apartment ! It was so much fun, we all had a great time. Everyone brought a yummy dessert - we had everything from apple crisp to lemon bars to ice cream sundaes and Danielle's delicious fondue set! :) Bryan and I received so many great gifts. We got two good luck bamboo plants, a bbq and all of its essential utensils, invisible wall shelfs, cute word plaques "love, believe, etc.", patio furniture, a plant, a gnome, a very cute welcome friends sign, a bird feeder, & danielle put together a basket of things she thought we would forget to buy for the apartment! And of course, Grandma had previously bought lots of food for the house & Auntie Kristen sent us a big ol' box of goodies & Grandpa and Nana bought us lots of fun stuff, including our brand new set of pots and pans. Needless to say, we did pretty well :) Thanks to everyone who came! 

Catching Up - Sorry!!

Mother's day was spent at my parents house. We invited family and friends, and had bbq'd chicken and steak! Yummm! It was a great time. We just lounged around and talked. We always have such a wonderful time over there! 

Our First Lease Signing!

Tuesday, May 5th, Bryan and I had an appointment at 9:30am to sign our lease for our apartment. Needless to say, we were STOKED! When we gave her our applications last week, we were so nervous that we wouldn't get it (don't ask me why, we both have good credit). She called us and let us know that everything went through perfectly, and it all looks great! (Whew!) When we went in, we followed both of our parents advice and made sure we read everything clearly, and asked lots of questions regarding the lease. :) At least we learned something good from our parents, right?! Our move in date is May 9th (tomorrow)! We have been shopping like crazy for necessities (and of course, a few fun things!). 

Even though I am so excited to be moving out on my own, I am also sad. This is the first REAL time that I am moving out of my parents house :( I know that my family and I will always stay close, and they will finally get to come over to MY house and hang out, so that makes me feel a lot better! I will definitely miss my mama, sisters and daddy, and of course the rest of the pups that will be here! And I am SUPER excited to have my professional interior decorator (AKA Mama) come and help me decorate my new apartment. I will be taking lots of pictures of us during the move, during the unpacking, and of course when its all done :)

Natasha's 21st Birthday Party

Natasha has been a friend of mine since I was a sophomore in high school. We have had many great times together, and we got to add the memories from her 21st birthday!! :) We went swimming at her house for a bit on Saturday afternoon, went to the motel she rented out to get ready, went to a restaurant/club called Aloha Jay's in Temecula, & then went back to the motel to have the "after-party!" We had a blast!! I can't wait for my 21st birthday! 

100th Post!

For Haylee's actual birthday, the whole family went to Sea World for the day :) Even though we have been there a bunch of times already, it is still a very nice and fun day to spend with the fam! :)
