This is gonna be a long one....

Brandon and I left for our 6 hour and 45 minute drive to Roseville on July 17th to visit The Butlers! This was definitely the highlight of my summer. I am so thankful to have such an awesome Aunt and Uncle that are willing to open up their home to

Brandon and I. There were so many great memories created that week, ones that I will surely never forget. Here is a little glimpse at what our week entailed.

Not only did Brandon and I get to attend an amazing show at Club

Retro to see CV play, Uncle Brandon, Danielle, Seth and Payten drove up Friday night to stay for the weekend. Austen was so thrilled that Uncle Brandon was there to see an actual show, and was able to record it with his fancy shmancy video camera :)

Of course, we all did a few crafts while we were up there. I made Bryan a door knob hanger for the office, and a summery jewelry box (Bailey helped me)!

Tuesday, Auntie decided that she wanted us to go to Petroglyph (this is a place where we paint ceramic pieces and they fire it and it comes out nice and shiny and beautiful!) Auntie has started a tradition that she pays for all visiting guests to make a plate, & she gets to keep it so that next time we visit we can use it to eat with! :) The boys even joined in on this! It was a blast.

course, I had to choose a peace sign, because I absolutely LOVE them! :)

The rest of the week was great as well. Other events included: seeing Harry Potter 6 and My Sisters Keeper at the theater, going out to eat at Cal Roll, Prime Wok, Red Robin, and the infamous morning donuts, playing lots of guitar hero with the boys, going to the mall, making a trip to Learning Express to pick me up an ugly doll (which I will blog about later on!) and seeing a few old friends (Nansee, Elise and Mike)!

I am sure you have all noticed that within just a few days I went from being a blondie to a red head! Unfortunantely Jodie had done my hair 2 days before I left for my trip and I just wasn't happy with the turn out (my roots were very dark and it was just wasn't doing it for me). If you know me, my hair is definitely an important aspect of my appearance (I have gone through about 20 different colors, and I personally think that I have looked good in most of them) So, since I wasn't enjoying the blonde I went out and dyed my hair Intense Auburn! I am so happy with the turn out and absolutely love it! Its really treating me well, and I have received nothing but compliments on it!! :)

P.S - Auntie, I miss you guys so much already. I hope we can begin to visit each other a lot more often! Like every few months or so, cause that would be great!!! Thank you so much for everything you did for me! It really meant so much to me! I love you guys!

Happy Birthday Mr. Kale! Your finally 15! Yay! The day of my 15th birthday I was on my way up to Sacramento with my mom and sisters (we were moving up there)! I hope you had a great day! Can't wait to see you in ONE day! Love ya!!!

New home?

Okay, so our new home probably won't be this cute - more of a fixer upper needing some TLC, but at least it will be OUR home. Bryan and I were pre-approved for $115,000 to buy a house!!! Our broker has given us lots of great advice, and she recommends that we buy and close before the 1st of December because we will receive an extra $8,000 on our taxes the following year. Were waiting for our broker to receive the pre-approval letter from our lender, and then we get to start shopping! We are soooooo excited! :)

REUNITED

Only 1 more day (I don't count today or the day of!)! Even though this picture only has us three, we are being reunited with Kale, Bailey, Auntie Kristen and Uncle Shawn too! Lol.I just happened to find this picture on Austen's myspace, and wanted to steal it! :) Can't wait to see you guys! Love ya!

This weekend....

....was very nice & relaxing. Friday was my last day of work for 21 days! I got off a few hours early, came home and then went to Taco Bell for dinner with Bry, then we rented Knowing (good movie, but I hated it... I am terrified of the end of the world & aliens, but which are in this movie).

Saturday we got up early, hit a few yard sales (didn't find much, just a hazard/spot light for my car, just in case anything happens on my trip!), went grocery shopping (got some cute tank tops while I was at WalMart), Bryan had to work for an hour and when he got home we headed over to Grandma's house to go swimming & then went out to dinner at a yummy Mexican Restaurant in Elsinore!

Sunday I slept in a bit longer (if you count 8am sleeping in), ran over to Target to return some decor that we never ended up using and I got myself a few cute tops. Bryan had to work again at 11am, only for an hour though, and then we headed out to the Temecula Mall ( I need to buy myself a strapless bra to wear with my new shirts, and then I ended up getting some new shoes & another new top). Then we headed over to my parents house for dinner (bbq'd chicken, au gratin potatoes, baked beans, white rice, corn on the cob!) and then some dessert (banana split sandwiches & crystal light popsicles!) Everything was VERY delicious!

P.S - The status update on my camera: "Camera has been fixed. Is in shipment back to Menifee store. Should arrive within 2-7 days" (but, it got to the warehouse in about 2 days, so I am assuming its going to get back to the store pretty fast too!) Keep your fingers crossed that I have it by Thursday! :)

I am sure everyone has read my moms blog about my plans for my FUNraiser. I am really hoping for an amazing turn out. I have already have lots of people responding to my craigslist ads for volunteers, and I'm hoping to get lots of my family and friends to help out.
