Giggles&Co!

I am so excited to announce that I have started my own company. Its not much yet, but I am hoping to grow a lot! :] Its called Giggles&Co. Currently I am making tutu's for any aged girl, and animals! All colors, all different designs of ribbons, its adorable!!

Here are a few links to check out the stuff:

Please send an email to place an order! gigglesandco@hotmail.com

Besides starting up Giggles&Co, we haven't been too busy. School started back up on the 25th so I have been busy with three classes (another one starts in March) and our new bunco group! We have a great group of girls playing with us! My mom, Grandma, Aunt Marilee, Danielle, Christy, my friend Jennifer who I have known since third grade, and my sisters. We are also hoping for Dev and Christiana (both are Christy's daughters!)! Its gonna be a great bunco year! We will definitely be taking pictures and all of that good stuff!

Hmmm.... what else can I update you all on? Oh, I saved a Shiatsu dog the other day. I was leaving my moms house at around 7pm and there she was, crossing the busy street. I pulled over and called her over to me, she came right to me. She hopped in my car and we were on our way to my house. I called a few emergency pet clinics and Animal Control, all of whom wouldn't take her because it was "after hours on a Saturday." So, she stayed the night with us and I took her to Ramona Animal Shelter the next morning. They called me two days later to let me know that she was microchipped and they would be contacting her owner! Yay! I was more than thrilled! :]

I have ordered myself two magazines. Everyday Rachael Ray and Good Housekeeping. I have been really focusing on making new and yummy meals, instead of the boring old Hamburger Helper! Last night I made BBQ Beef Bowls! Sooo good!

Ingredients:
1lb Hamburger Meat
1 Cup of BBQ Sauce
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
Can of pillsbury biscuits
Cheddar Cheese!

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400. Brown hamburger meat. Take off of heat and mix in bbq sauce and brown sugar. Place bisuits into a MUFFIN TIN, press them down to make a sort of bowl. Put mixture into each "bowl". Top with cheese. Bake for 10-15minutes! Sooo easy!

Well, hope you enjoyed the update. I will be back soon with some pictures and all of that good stuff! Everyone have a safe Super Bowl and Valentines Day! :]

Amazing!! Even if I don't win, I definitely think I will be getting some beautiful jewelry created by her!

I'm obviously horrible at this...

...but at least I do it occasionally right? Thats all that counts!

Anyways, the last few weeks have been quite busy for us with getting back into our regular routines after the holiday season is over!

First of all, we had a really great time at Bill and Christy's house for New Years Eve!

My boss was out of town until the 4th of January, and I went back to work on the 5th (it was nice to have Christmas and New Years off, plus vacation!) This past Thursday I worked 15 hours straight! AHHH. I went in at 9am and got off at midnight! It was a crazy day, but well worth the money! Unfortunantely, right now, all of my money is going to my car. Recently my car had been acting up and it was needing me to put water into the radiator, urgh! Luckily, Bryans dad is a mechanic so he looked at it and let me know that I had a leak in my radiator. I bought that and had it replaced yesterday. Well, after he was done with that he informed me that I also have a leak in my overflow tank, which I need to replace as well (however, it is drivable). But then last night after I got gas, my car was sputtering really badly and jerking me all over the place! My mom says she thinks it might be a bad gas cap (if its stripped and not tightening all the way it could be letting air inside the tank, causing it to sputter) so now I have to figure out what that problem is! And on top of all of that, I need to replace my air conditioning line cause that has a leak in it and I am NOT about to go through this summer with no air conditioner! And my car registration is due this month! :] Yay for spending LOTS of money on cars, NOT!

However, on the bright side, it kind of makes me happy that I have to replace some things cause I feel like after all of this all over I will have a pretty reliable car, and most of the stuff I have bought for it has lifetime warranties on it, so that makes me feel even better! :]

Hmm, so what else has been going on... well, school starts on the 25th, I am taking 5 classes, and I am trying to find a way to somehow scrape up about $200 for school books! Although the cost of the books totally sucks, I am so excited for school! I only have 3 more semesters (this Spring, Summer and Fall) and I have my Associates Degree! Yay! Then its time to transfer to a University! :]

And last but not least, I am so excited that Valentines Day is coming up. I have a giftcard to Target so I am going to go there and get some cute Valentines decorations, and Bryan and I are going to plan something free or super cheap to celebrate (probably a picnic or a special dinner made at home, and then we'll exchange gifts!) I absolutely love this time of year! :]

Time for me to go get cleaned up and start cleaning up the house! Bye for now!

Merry - Belated - Christmas!

Oops, I am a little late! Oh well, better late than never, right? :]

December was quite the month of celebration for us! First, we had Makayla's 14th Birthday celebration at my parents house which was a total blast! Delicious food and great fun with family and friends! I cannot believe Kayla is only two years away from getting her drivers license, scary!!! On the 13th, we celebrated Christmas early with Grandpa and Nana (since they would be in Roseville for Christmas!) We had Grandpa's famous pancakes, lots of snacks and desserts! Everyone got such great gifts! I got the hair dryer/straightener set that I was dying for, plus some bath and body works wall flowers for my house!

Bryan and I went to Sea World to see what types of Holiday stuff they had out, and it was so much fun! Of course everything was decorated for Christmas, all of their shows were holiday themed and they had a Polar Express 4D Experience Show, which was totally awesome!

Then, of course, my parents, sisters and I had to go on our annual Christmas Light drive. We saw some of the most amazing houses ever this year! The people are so nice too! Here are some of the really good ones! :]

Christmas Eve was spent with my mom and sisters decorating sugar cookies, making peanut brittle and opening the traditional Christmas PJ's! Unfortunantely, Bryan and my dad were both at work and missed out on the fun festivities :[ Later that night, Bryan and I went over to his parents house for traditional Christmas dinner, dessert and presents. It was a lot of fun spending time with them and opening their wonderful gifts, and seeing them open our gifts to them. We received a waffle maker, a picture frame, gift cards, clothes, cologne, and some other stuff! It was a lot of fun! (Sadly, I forgot my camera that night so I am waiting for Tina to email me the pics from hers, same with my moms camera from the cookie decorating!)

This was mine and Bryans first Christmas together in our own place, so it was extremely special to us. We of course decorated and enjoyed having our own Christmas tree and all of that good stuff. We started by opening our boys gifts (bones, toys, collars, etc.) from "Santa" and then opened our gifts to each other. I got some clothes, shoes, decorations, a movie and a beautiful Pandora bracelet (its a charm bracelet)! Bryan got some clothes, books, and some new vans (and then I surprised him later at my moms house with a brand new iPod nano!) We went over to my parents house to spend the rest of Christmas with them, my sisters and Grandma Cathy! We all got some really nice gifts. Grandma was super tired so she headed home around 2pm, but of course we had such a good time with her! We went to dinner at Sushi Boat in Temecula and then went and saw Sherlock Holmes! We had such a good Christmas! I hope everyone else really enjoyed theirs too!

Our Christmas Tree & First Family Photos ! :)

We decided to use our timer on our camera to get some family photos in front of our first Christmas Tree! For some reason they came out blurry and the dogs were just not having it. But we also managed to take some with just me and the dogs and Bryan and the dogs, and those came out great. Of course, the first one was Bryan and Boston being silly! LOL.

Weight loss, exercise, great goals!

While being bored one night, I decided to look through some random blogs, I happened to come across a girls blog where she manages her calories and exercise statuses, plus all of her goals, and shares it with her followers. I have been following her blogs daily and I am really enjoying reading it! She is very inspirational and motivating (especially cause she is 115lbs!) Anyways, she develops goals for herself every month and posts them on her blog. I thought that I would share my 10 Goals for the rest of December with all of you. I will continuously update on my progress and will post new goals each month.

December Goals:
1. Run/Walk/Eliptical a total of 90 miles
2. Read 2 books to add to my book list
3. Get all of my no longer stuff needed sold/donated
4. Redo our office setup and get rid of the clutter!
5. Make 4 new healthy recipes to add to my recipe book! (If you have any good ones, send em' my way!)
6. Only eat out once!
7. Lose AT LEAST 5lbs!
8. Figure out a budget to pay off debt!
9. Donate at least $5 to a charity.
10. Begin saving for my dental work/braces!

So far, I have gone 2.6 miles on the eliptical. I am in the process of reading "True Believer" by Nicholas Sparks. I have listed my stuff on craigslist, but no responses yet, if no responses after Christmas then I will be taking it to the Salvation Army. Everything else is still being worked on! :)
