Oops, I am a little late! Oh well, better late than never, right? :]
December was quite the month of celebration for us! First, we had Makayla's 14th Birthday celebration at my parents house which was a total blast! Delicious food and great fun with family and friends! I cannot believe Kayla is only two years away from getting her drivers license, scary!!! On the 13th, we celebrated Christmas early with Grandpa and Nana (since they would be in Roseville for Christmas!) We had Grandpa's famous pancakes, lots of snacks and desserts! Everyone got such great gifts! I got the hair dryer/straightener set that I was dying for, plus some bath and body works wall flowers for my house!

Bryan and I went to Sea World to see what types of Holiday stuff they had out, and it was so much fun! Of course everything was decorated for Christmas, all of their shows were holiday themed and they had a Polar Express 4D Experience Show, which was totally awesome!
Then, of course, my parents, sisters and I had to go on our annual Christmas Light drive. We saw some of the most amazing houses ever this year! The people are so nice too! Here are some of the really good ones! :]
Christmas Eve was spent with my mom and sisters decorating sugar cookies, making peanut brittle and opening the traditional Christmas PJ's! Unfortunantely, Bryan and my dad were both at work and missed out on the fun festivities :[ Later that night, Bryan and I went over to his parents house for traditional Christmas dinner, dessert and presents. It was a lot of fun spending time with them and opening their wonderful gifts, and seeing them open our gifts to them. We received a waffle maker, a picture frame, gift cards, clothes, cologne, and some other stuff! It was a lot of fun! (Sadly, I forgot my camera that night so I am waiting for Tina to email me the pics from hers, same with my moms camera from the cookie decorating!)
This was mine and Bryans first Christmas together in our own place, so it was extremely special to us. We of course decorated and enjoyed having our own Christmas tree and all of that good stuff. We started by opening our boys gifts (bones, toys, collars, etc.) from "Santa" and then opened our gifts to each other. I got some clothes, shoes, decorations, a movie and a beautiful Pandora bracelet (its a charm bracelet)! Bryan got some clothes, books, and some new vans (and then I surprised him later at my moms house with a brand new iPod nano!) We went over to my parents house to spend the rest of Christmas with them, my sisters and Grandma Cathy! We all got some really nice gifts. Grandma was super tired so she headed home around 2pm, but of course we had such a good time with her! We went to dinner at Sushi Boat in Temecula and then went and saw Sherlock Holmes! We had such a good Christmas! I hope everyone else really enjoyed theirs too!

Hey girl! Thanks so much for the fabulous update! Wow, you guys have been SO busy. How fun to be creating such meaningful memories with Bryan and your family. It sounds like you all got some AMAZING gifts! Santa was generous this year, for sure!
How is your weight loss going? I ask because it sure looks like you've lost weight (especially in the Sea World picture in front of the tree). You look great! Keep it up!
Love,
Auntie Kristen
Hi Lex & Bryan, it looks like you guys had a super Christmas! We had a fantastic time in Roseville with the Butlers, Redding with my mom, sisters and all the family that goes with that, and then Christmas Day in Jackson with more Butlers and family. A wonderful holiday but wish we could have spent more time with everyone down here.
